Kellock Opens Wooden Spoon Cafe in Shettleston

Members of the Glasgow Wooden Spoon rugby charity were delighted to join Al Kellock to officially open the Wooden Spoon Café as part of Fuse Youth Café in Shettleston Glasgow on Tuesday. The Fuse Youth Café offers a safe place for young people with a café area, gig space and internet café.Over the last 18 months the Fuse Youth Café has gone through a significant redevelopment which included creating the Wooden Spoon Cafe. The improvements have been a tremendous success which have increased awareness for the charity and increased users by 60% since completion.Scottish Rugby Ambassador, Al Kellock, said This is a great facility for young people in Shettleston and it is great to see more people are already starting to use it.Wooden Spoon are delighted to support Charites like the Fuse Youth Café where it is possible to see the direct positive impact on local young people. Through the power of rugby The Wooden Spoon Charity fund life-changing projects for Children and Young People.
