Macleod Wins Scotland Call-Up

The Edinburgh second row Scott MacLeod has been promoted to the full Scotland touring party to Argentina. The ex-Hawick man hasn’t played for Scotland since they last jetted off to Argentina two years ago and now he is ready to challenge for more honours adding to his 21 caps. Im very excited about the tour. It’s been a disappointing end to the season from a team perspective at Edinburgh. My ball carrying improved and I took a lot of positives from getting the call up from the As.MacLeod had been chosen in the Scotland A squad to defend their IRB Nations Cup title but now has been elevated to the senior squad. The partisan crowds in Tucuman and Mar Del Plata bring an environment which some players won’t be used to and with his experience, MacLeod plans not to be just a spectator.Im going there to get a chance to speak to Andy Robinson and understand what I have to do to get in the 22 for the Tests.
