Philip Doyle has made a change to his squad for the first of two Autumn Tests on Sunday. Scotland will play Wales at Scotstoun at 3.10pm, live on BBC Alba.
Dropping out of the squad through injury is centre Hannah Smith. She picked up the injury on Sunday during Watsonians’ 19-44 win over Hillhead Jordanhill in the Women’s Tennent’s Premiership League match.
Doyle has called in Lisa Martin ahead of his first home match on Sunday. Martin, who moved to Saracens this season, will pick up her 50th cap for Scotland if she is selected in the match day squad.
Doyle said on the squad change: “It is disappointing that we won’t have Hannah for the match against Wales on Sunday. I am hopeful that we will have her back for the match next weekend against Japan.
“Lisa has a lot of experience and has been playing well at Saracens this season, starting every match. I am looking forward to seeing what she brings to the squad.”
Tickets are still available for Scotland’s match against Wales on Sunday at Scotstoun. Packages and match tickets can be purchased now for both Scotland’s Autumn Tests and the Women’s Six Nations matches.
