An excellent opening quarter put us in charge, and Jones’ breakaway try from Matt Fagerson’s charge down of Ford’s drop goal attempt in truth sealed it.

England try to play from their own 22 but the ball seems to slip out of a hand during the pass and go forward.

The lineout isn’t straight and England get the scrum five metres out. They break right from the scrum, but we hold them up!

Dobie is injured and nobody noticed the space on our left wing, except Fin Smith who kicks to Steward. But Darcy covers across and sticks him in touch!
Dobie has to go off, and Adam Hastings is on.
We get a penalty for offside and Darcy goes quickly, charging to five metres out, but Pollock locks on and wins the jackal.

Turner this time does win the jackal on the floor, and finds Zander, but he can’t quite hold the unexpected pass.

England threaten as Mitchell breaks from the maul, but Scotland hold firm and cause the knock on in a ruck.

End to end stuff, but no breakthroughs and Steward decides enough is enough.

Arundell, just back on the pitch, takes a short, flat pass from Ford and coasts under the sticks.

England win the pen at the scrum, which is kicked into the left corner.
Great work from Darge and Jones to wrap the ball up and create a maul.
