The Nations Championship sees the world’s best teams from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres go head-to-head across two connected series: three rounds in July (replacing the old summer tours) and three rounds in November (replacing the old autumn tests).

The last of Scotland’s Nations Championship games before the Finals Weekend in London sees the first visit from Japan for five years, when Scotland scored four tries in a 29-20 win. The Brave Blossoms (who famously made the knock-out stages of their own Rugby World Cup in 2019 after a narrow win against Scotland) finished runners-up in last year’s Pacific Nations Cup (losing 27-33 to Fiji in the final) after recording a famous win against Wales in the summer.

Individual match tickets are currently only available to the general public for the Fiji v Scotland game (Saturday 18 July). Details of the general sale of tickets for the three home games in November – including Scotland v Japan – will be confirmed shortly.
