Melrose To Camouflage Itself For Poppy Scotland
The Scottish rugby club that invented the game of Sevens is to adopt a one-off Army-style camouflage playing jersey in support of British Forces serving overseas.Melrose RFC, known worldwide as the home of the abbreviated game, is to wear the new strip for the 2010 Sevens season as a mark of respect for the bravery and sacrifice of our Service personnel.The Scottish rugby club that invented the game of Sevens is to adopt a one-off Army-style camouflage playing jersey in support of British Forces serving overseas.Melrose RFC, known worldwide as the home of the abbreviated game, is to wear the new strip for the 2010 Sevens season as a mark of respect for the bravery and sacrifice of our Service personnel.The limited-edition strip, designed by Melrose RFC kit sponsor Kukri Sports, will also be available to the general public on a first-come basis – with the Club making a donation to Poppy Scotland for each jersey sold.
