Chloe Rollie to make 50th appearance for Scotland

26 Aug 2022

Scotland Women Head Coach Bryan Easson has named his Scotland side to take on USA in tomorrow’s Summer Test series match at DAM Health Stadium (kick-off 4pm) – live on scottishrugby.org.

Chloe Rollie is poised to make her 50th appearance for her country, with the Jedburgh raised full-back making her debut against France in the 2015 Six Nations, while the University of Edinburgh’s Elliann Clarke could make her debut from the bench.

Molly Wright packs down with Lana Skeldon and Christine Belisle in the front row, whilst Emma Wassell and Sarah Bonar line up in the second row.

Captain Rachel Malcolm starts at blindside flanker, with Louise McMillan at openside flanker and Evie Gallagher at number 8.

In the back division, Caity Mattinson partners vice-captain Helen Nelson at half-back, with Lisa Thomson and Emma Orr selected at inside and outside centre respectively.

Hannah Smith starts on the left wing, with Rhona Lloyd on the right wing to complete the back three with Chloe Rollie.

Joining Elliann Clarke on the bench in the forwards are Jodie Rettie, Leah Bartlett, Rachel McLachlan and Jade Konkel, whilst Mairi McDonald, Meryl Smith and Shona Campbell are the backs listed as replacements.

Easson said: “It has been the first time we have been able to have a full pre-season as a group. I am really pleased to see the 7s players coming back and following an extensive pre-season period, the exciting part now is for us all it get on the field and put together everything that we have been working on.

“Our long term goal is the first game in New Zealand against Wales, however, this match is still part of our build-up and crucial preparation towards the main showpiece event in New Zealand.”

Match tickets and two-match packages are available, including our popular Kids for £1 offer (with a paying adult ticket, £12). Students and U18s tickets are only £5. FIND TICKETS
