Winger Nikki Walker was the only other member of the Scotland squad from the weekend who was unable to train today following an ankle injury but Scotland team doctor James Robson expects him to be able to resume training tomorrow. Rory Lamont was examined by facial and eye specialists at St John’s Hospital, Livingston today following the head knock he sustained at the weekend. Dr Robson said: Once the swelling around Rory’s eye has settled down he will undergo surgery later in the week. Meanwhile, Ross Ford is undergoing further investigation following the ankle ligament injury he suffered on Saturday.
