Everything is set for an unforgettable matchday as Scotland take on Fiji at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on Saturday 18 July. 

Whether you’re coming to cheer on Scotland or celebrate Fiji’s vibrant culture, arriving early is the best way to make the most of your day. Turnstiles open two hours before kick-off (2.10pm) , giving supporters plenty of time to enjoy live entertainment, interactive activities and fantastic food and drink before the action begins. 

Arrive Early for the Full Matchday Experience 

Scottish Gas Murrayfield will be buzzing long before kick-off, with entertainment and activities taking place across the stadium. 

Fans can enjoy a wide range of bars and food outlets while soaking up the pre-match atmosphere before taking their seats for what promises to be a memorable international fixture. 

Visit the Fijian Fan Zone 

Head to the West Fan Village to experience the vibrant Fijian Fan Zone, where supporters can immerse themselves in the sights, sounds and traditions of Fiji.

Fans are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by wearing colourful Bula shirts, Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts or Pacific-inspired outfits. The best-dressed supporters will have the chance to win fantastic prizes on the day.

At the heart of the Fan Zone will be a traditional Fijian Village, complete with authentic Bures – the iconic thatched houses found throughout the islands.

Supporters can also enjoy a range of free cultural activities, including:

  • Temporary tribal tattoos from specialist artists
  • Designing their own Fijian-inspired tote bag
  • Dressing up in authentic Fijian costumes
  • Learning about Fiji’s islands, traditions and cultural heritage

Live Music and Cultural Performances 

Experience the rich culture of Fiji through an exciting programme of live entertainment featuring some of the Pacific nation’s most celebrated performers, all travelling to Edinburgh for this special occasion. 

The line-up includes: 

Paradise Rootz, renowned for their blend of Pacific Island rhythms, reggae influences and soulful melodies. 

Primanavia, Fiji’s award-winning choir, combining classical choral excellence with rich Pacific traditions. 

Georgina Ledua, one of Fiji’s most loved vocalists and songwriters. 

Don’t Miss the Pre-Match Cultural Showcase 

From 1:50pm, fans inside the stadium can enjoy a spectacular Fijian Cultural Showcase on the pitch.

The performance will feature: 

  • Traditional warrior dancers 
  • Meke performers
  • Lali drummers
  • An authentic Fijian choir
  • Live performances from Fiji’s celebrated musicians

Getting to Scottish Gas Murrayfield

Please be aware that trams are running between Edinburgh Airport and West End only. Ticket acceptance is in place on Lothian services between West End and Newhaven, and on Scotrail services from Haymarket to Waverley. Bus and train services may be busier than normal, so please allow extra time for your travel.
