Ford Continues To Motor With Scottish Rugby
30 Jul 2010
Scottish Rugby is delighted to announce today that Ford Motor Company Limited has renewed its sponsorship as Official Vehicle Supplier in a six figure deal. The agreement, which will also see Ford supply vehicles during the Emirates Airline Edinburgh 7s, was launched by Edinburgh’s Scotland international centre Nick De Luca in South Queensferry, with the Forth Bridges providing a suitably iconic backdrop. Ford provides Mondeo, S-Max, C-Max, Focus, Galaxy and Transit for the Scottish Rugby fleet. Scotland supporters can also get close to Ford on international match days at Murrayfield with prize games such as the “Ford Fast Fan Challenge.”Scottish Rugby’s Chief Executive Gordon McKie said: “We’re pleased to retain Ford as one of our key partners. Through our association, rugby is being driven to all parts of Scotland as we go about our business of developing, enhancing and promoting rugby nationwide.”Sponsorship Specialist, Ford of Britain, Duvall Hunter, said: Being Official Vehicle Supplier to Scottish Rugby is a badge we’re proud to wear. We know that Ford drivers love sport and the Scottish Rugby partnership gives us a chance to reach a wide range of customers. As well as cheering on the team, we can engage the crowd in some Ford-style fun with sports games. Here’s to a great winning season.”
