The Scotland coaches decided to enlist Gregor after his Glasgow clubmate, Mark McMillan, sustained knocks to his shoulder and hip during training this afternoon. The initial medical opinion is that McMillan is unlikely to be fit to train tomorrow (Tuesday) but that he should not be a long-term concern. Gregor, the top scorer for Scotland 7s in IRB competitions, played in all three games for Scotland A during the Barclay’s Churchill Cup during the summer. The training camp at La Manga is preparation for Scotland’s November matches against New Zealand, South Africa and Canada.
