A close partnership between Scottish Rugby and our Official Formalwear Partner, Walker Slater in conjunction with Harris Tweed Hebrides, has resulted in a stylish formalwear collection designed for both men and women.
Custom designed in 2016 by Harris Tweed Hebrides’ Head
Designer, Ken Kennedy, the bespoke fabric incorporates the dark navy base of
the national team’s playing jersey along with a subtle multi-windowpane pattern
of rich blue, with purple and green to represent the colours of the thistle.
The Murrayfield jacket was designed with your Scotland team in mind, being the go-to garment for post match functions for the players, council and board members.
The collection has grown over the past seasons to include garments for both men and women as well as a full range of accessories including caps, backpacks, bags and hip flasks.
Handwoven in the Outer Hebrides from 100 percent pure new
wool, Harris Tweed is a renowned Scottish heritage fabric, known for its hardwearing
and insulative qualities, stamped with the Orb Trademark as representative of
its authenticity and traceability.
