What were doing has to make sense to the fans, because we want to grow the numbers and make our home here at Murrayfield a great one for the Edinburgh supporters and the Edinburgh team. We have to convert home advantage so that Murrayfield becomes a fortress: I know from my own experiences with Connacht that there is the potential for this to be a very difficult place for opposing teams to come. Im excited about the new ideas for match-day next season, with the pitchside standing and such like I recognise that it’s my job to get the boys in the right frame of mind for matches, and, with the encouragement of our fans, to ensure we pick up more wins.Edinburgh are an exciting team. I don’t know all the players personally yet, but Ive got the chance now to spend time with them and get to know what makes them tick.
