21 Sep 2020

Six Nations have today announced the fixture details for the rescheduled 2020 Women’s Six Nations matches.

Scotland will host France at Scotstoun Stadium on Sunday 25 October (kick-off 2.05pm) before travelling away to Wales the following week (Sunday 1 November, kick-off 4.15pm, venue TBC).

The third and final match for the Scots will see them travel to the Stadio Sergio Lanranchi in Parma to face their Italian counterparts (Sunday 6 December, kick-off 6pm GMT / 7pm local time).

Interim Scotland Head Coach, Bryan Easson, said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank those who have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to get the fixtures rescheduled.

“We’ve just completed a two-day weekend camp at Oriam and I was really pleased with the effort and hard work from the players. These fixtures present the perfect opportunity to really test ourselves against some tough opposition ahead of our World Cup qualifiers and we are looking forward to embracing that challenge.”

Ben Morel, CEO Six Nations, said: “Despite the ongoing challenges presented by COVID-19, we have been at all times absolutely determined to conclude this year’s Six Nations Women’s Championship.

“While we will remain vigilant in the current fast changing environment, we are nonetheless delighted to announce this schedule today. We are really looking to some exciting rugby and fantastic matches in the weeks’ ahead. I want to thank all involved in making this possible from the players, unions staff to our commercial partners.”
