Rennie Reminds Scotland Fans
25 Nov 2008
Ross Rennie took time out from preparing for Edinburgh’s clash against Ospreys on Friday night (28 November, kick off 7.30pm) to remind Scotland fans to redeem their Autumn Test tickets in order to gain FREE admission to a Magners League match.Despite missing the matches against New Zealand, South Africa and Canada, Rennie admits he was enthralled by the excitement generated over the three games. Now he believes supporters will experience a similar level of entertainment for the forthcoming 1872 Cup derby clash against Glasgow on Friday 26 December (kick off 7.30pm) and encouraged Scotland fans to come and sample the action. If you have your ticket details from either the New Zealand, South Africa or Canada match simply click here to claim your FREE ticket before the deadline on 1 December.Scotland flanker Rennie said: It would be absolutely awesome if we could beat our record Magners League crowd for the game against Glasgow and the free ticket offer should help make the atmosphere even more special.Players certainly do appreciate the size of the crowd and it would be great if supporters who haven’t ever watched a Magners League match came along and enjoyed the rugby. In order to redeem a free ticket for a Magners League match, Scotland fans need to visit www.scottishrugby.org and click on the link titled Free Magners League Game.Thousands of supporters have already redeemed the offer with their Autumn Test tickets. The first 60,000 who take up the offer will be able to watch Edinburgh take on Glasgow in the opening derby double-header for the 1872 Cup, at Murrayfield on 26 December 2008, kicking off at 7.30pm. But time is running out for supporters to claim this special deal with the offer set to close on 1 December 2008.
