Calum MacRae has named his Scotland 7s squad for this weekend’s World Rugby HSBC Sevens-Series in Wellington.Gavin Lowe is recalled having missed the Cape Town competition through injury while Mark Robertson is in line to compete in his 50th World Series tournament. Glenn Bryce is included for the first time on the 2016/17 circuit having made nine appearances for Edinburgh Rugby so far this season.Nyle Godsmark also returns to the squad following impressive performances in the BT Premiership with Melrose this season. He replaces Joseva Nayacavou.Scotland have been drawn as top seeds in Pool D alongside Wales, Russia and Canada.Scotland 7s Head Coach Calum MacRae said: “Having Gavin Lowe back from injury is a real positive. He has worked hard and is ready for competition in Wellington having put his injury behind him.”Nyle (Godsmark) performed very well for the team in my first year on the series, with Joe (Nayacavou) having a commitment with the Army team.
