Scotland U19 Head Coach, Sean Lineen, has today named a 23-man squad to travel down to Ystrad Mynach for the age-grade side’s match against Wales on Sunday (8 December).
The players recently convened for two training days at BT Murrayfield and Oriam in preparation for their match at the Centre of Sporting Excellence.
The squad – which consists of 13 forwards and 10 backs – includes 13 FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy supported players.
The match against Wales will give players a further chance to put their hands up for selection for the Scotland U20 squad, which will compete in the U20 Six Nations in February.
Lineen said: “The players have trained really well in the build-up to the match and the game provides a great opportunity for them to test themselves against tough opponents.
“We are anticipating a very physical encounter against Wales and are looking for the players to rise to the challenge.”
