Tickets for Scotland’s three home matches in the 2013 RBS 6 Nations Championship will go on sale next Wednesday (15 August), Scottish Rugby confirmed today.Scotland will face Italy on Saturday 9 February (kick-off 2.30pm); Ireland on Sunday 24 February (2pm); and Wales on Saturday 9 March (2.30pm).Scottish Rugby’s Director of Commercial Operations, Communications and Public Affairs, Dominic McKay, said: “Since our unbeaten summer tour to Australia, Fiji and Samoa we’ve been inundated with inquiries from supporters as to when they can buy tickets for next year’s RBS 6 Nations games at Murrayfield.  The wait is just about over! “We’ve already had tremendous uptake for our EMC Tests against New Zealand, South Africa and Tonga this November and tickets are still on sale for these matches which will have a huge bearing on our standings in the IRB world rankings prior to the draw for the 2015 Rugby World Cup in December.”Now we are releasing our home matches in the 2013 Championship for public sale from next Wednesday (15 August) at 10am.These matches are of vital importance to Scottish Rugby, in both a rugby and financial sense, as all the revenues we generate are ploughed back into the game at all levels throughout the country.”That said, we know that it’s a tough economic climate at present so we are pleased to maintain price levels from last season, as well as broadening the discounts available to students across all three of our home games for the first time.”Adult tickets for the Italy match are priced at£30,£40 and£70 with discounted tickets for under-18s and students at£15,£20 and£35.Adult tickets for the matches against Ireland and Wales are priced at£35,£50 and£75. Discounts for these matches apply to under-18s at£17.50,£25 or£37.50, with students also able to buy discounted tickets solely at the£17.50 category.Scotland Women 7s and GB Student Women 7s player Megan Gaffney, who’s currently studying Sports Science at Glasgow University, said: I think it’s great that students, like me, will be able to experience the amazing atmosphere of the internationals at these discounted prices. Coming to Murrayfield to watch Scotland play is always a big deal – but now it’ll be a good deal, too!”Tickets for Scotland’s home matches in the 2013 RBS Six Nations Championship go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 15 August. You can buy through our website – www.scottishrugby.org ; via the 24 hour credit card hotline 0844 335 3933 or in person from the Scottish Rugby Ticket Centre, Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh EH12 5PJ.  The centre is open during office hours.In addition car park passes for both the EMC Tests at Murrayfield on 11 November v New Zealand and 17 November v South Africa will also be on sale on Wednesday 15 August.  Car park passes, sold on a first-come, first-served basis are available per match for a fee of£25 and can be bought through the same three routes as match tickets.
