Steven Aitken, Robbie Johnston, David Morton and Fraser Galbraith are introduced instead of Grant Anderson, Steven Wilson, Dougie Orr and Nick Campbell at full-back, centre, tight-head prop and lock respectively. Head coach Colin Robertson knows that in the course of the three-game, week-long festival each of his 26-strong squad must start at least one match, and that was a factor in selection. England are different to France, with different strengths and weaknesses, and although we played well in France, the players know that there are areas where were looking for improvement, he said. Admission to the match is free and Robertson is hoping for a voluble support. Its Scotland v England in Scotland and thats always a big game, he noted.
