Scots Support Falklands’ Anniversary Game

Former Scotland international prop Mattie Stewart is coaching a Falklands Task Force rugby squad playing against the Penguins invitation team in a special charity match this weekend. Stewart, capped 34-times and still serving in the Army, will be joined by 45-year-old Falklands veteran Paul Livingstone, from Perth, and 29-year-old Buckie born second-row Marsh Cormack from the Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton. Another Scot, Scotland A team doctor Lt Col Alastair Nicol, brother of Scotland scrum-half Andy Nicol, will be the Task Force rugby team doctor. Scots included in the Penguins’ team are Scotland 7s internationalists Mark Lee and Oliver Brown in the back-row. The match will be played on Saturday (16 June) and will kick-off at 4pm.
