Scottish Rugby Referee weekend appointments

This weekend’s referee appointments sees a host of officials involved in European, BT Premiership and BT National League Division 1 action.Graeme Wells has been selected to referee Krasny Yar’s hosting of Mogliano in an EPCR Challenge Cup qualifier in Moscow on Sunday.In tomorrow’s BT Premiership, Keith Allen will command the whistle when league leaders Glasgow Hawks visit Millbrae to face performers Ayr, as David Sutherland referees Stirling County’s encounter with Watsonians at Bridgehaugh.An Edinburgh derby between Currie and Boroughmuir will see Lloyd Linton take charge in the middle, while Rio 2016 referee Mike Adamson will officiate the other derby this weekend, Gala v Hawick in the Borders.Sam Grove-White, who was recently selected to officiate the 2016-17 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, will referee an exciting clash between Melrose and Heriot’s at The Greenyards.In BT National League Division 1, Graeme Ormiston is scheduled to referee Marr’s visit to Aberdeen, Steven Turnbull will take control of Dundee HSPF v Musselburgh, while Finlay Brown is on hand to referee Falkirk’s visit to table-toppers, Jed-Forest.Hamilton’s clash with GHA will be officiated by Taku Otsuki (Japan), Howe of Fife’s hosting of Edinburgh Accies sees John Shaw in the middle, and Stewart’s Melville’s visit to Selkirk is refereed by Dunx McClement.
