Team named for final U18 women festival test

Head Coach Lindsey Smith has announced her Scotland Women U18 team for the final round of the U18 Six Nations Festival against Wales U18 at Wellington College tomorrow (kick off 12pm) – live on YouTube  

The front row is made up of Amy Vance at loosehead prop, Emily Sansom at hooker and Lilly Clarkson at tighthead.

Anna Stoddart and Pip Sutherland are paired together in the second row.  Captain Eve Mackay at blindside is joined on the flanks by Juliet Ramsay at openside, with Estella Vaughan at number eight to round off the forwards.  

Scrum-half Emma Wylie will work alongside Lucy Ronald at fly-half in the half-backs, whilst Niamh Waters on the inside and Kat Bird on the outside will partner up in the centres.  

The back three returns to the one that faced Italy in round one, with Bethan Mathieson and Connie Sanderson at left and right wing respectively and Neve Murray at full-back to complete the backs contingent.  

Eilidh Rose, Ellen Nimmo, Danielle Kaschula, Megan Hutchison, Layla Mitchell, Gemma Gordon and Rhianna Bodle make up the forwards replacements.

Megan Laurie, Aoife Powrie-Smith, Lucy Symon and Sophie Gilvear will be primed to fill in as backs replacements, completing the 26-player squad.
