Tennent’s Men’s Premiership

Round 14 begins when third and forth place on the table, Edinburgh Accies and Selkirk, meet at Raeburn Place to play a game which both will be desperate to win.

It was a tough day at the office for Edinburgh Accies last Saturday as they suffered a 41-0 defeat against their hosts table leaders Hawick.

Selkirk didn’t have such an easy ride either when their visitors Musselburgh rose out of the ashes to steal a 20-32 win.

It was a close final score the last time the two met, but Edinburgh Accies managed to pull through with a 20-24 win over their hosts.

Currie Chieftains will be looking to bag another win this week when they travel to face GHA at Braidholm.

It was a heartbreak for GHA last week when their hosts Marr triumphed with a 21-point advantage on the final whistle.

One-try separated the score, but it was enough for Currie Chieftains to finish on another win against Heriot’s Blues.

It was a high-scoring nail biter the last time the two met, but Currie came out on top with a 43-40 score success.

Heriot’s Blues will have to pull out all the stops this week when they host table leaders Hawick at Goldenacre.

It was one try that separated the final score when Heriot’s Blues welcomed Currie Chieftains last week, with the hosts down the five points on the final whistle.

Hawick’s success just kept on coming last week when they finished their match with a very impressive 41-0 win over Edinburgh Accies.

Last time the teams met, there was no stopping Hawick who finished on a 52-21 win over Heriot’s Blues.

Due to current and forecasted temperatures, Musselburgh have declared Stoneyhill as unsuitable to play on this Saturday. The Musselburgh RFC v Jed-Forest RFC match will be rescheduled in due course.

Tennent’s Men’s National League Division 1

It’s all to play for when fourth place Gala welcome third place Ayr to Netherdale.

Aberdeen Grammar Rugby will have to give it all they got if they want to succeed when they visit Highland RFC in their North of Scotland affair.

After their win in Aberdeen last weekend, Kelso are back up North again, but this time to encounter Dundee Rugby.

Stewart Melville will have to give it their all when they welcome Melrose RFC to Inverleith, especially after the borders team’s colossal win over Stirling County last weekend.

After their impressive triumph in front of a home crowd last weekend against Gala, Watsonians will need to bring the same energy if they want a similar result against Stirling County.
