Three uncapped players have been included in the Scotland Women’s squad for the forthcoming RBS 6 Nations Championship. Back-row forwards Alex Pratt and Mary Lafaiki and stand-off Julie Sanaghan are among 23 players listed who will convene at Murrayfield for training next weekend (Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 January).Three uncapped players have been included in the Scotland Women’s squad for the forthcoming RBS 6 Nations Championship. Back-row forwards Alex Pratt and Mary Lafaiki and stand-off Julie Sanaghan are among 23 players listed who will convene at Murrayfield for training next weekend (Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 January). Pratt, 33, an environmental engineer, is a graduate of the Scotland Women’s Development squad; Lafaiki, 32, is a textiles student at Heriot Watt University; and Sanaghan, 27, is a sport and exercise student at Napier University, who has played for the Scotland Women’s 7s team and the Development team. Scotland Women will once again be captained by lock forward Jilly McCord with centre Veronica Fitzpatrick as vice-captain.
