Next series of coaching webinars announced
The next four hosts of Scottish Rugby’s coaching webinars, together with Tennent’s, have been announced, with some exciting names preparing to bring their knowledge of the game to the country’s band of aspiring coaches.
Starting next Thursday 30 April and continuing on a weekly basis, the webinars all start at 3pm and will be available to view both live and in Hive Learning afterwards.
The first session will be held by Gav Vaughan, Scotland Men’s Lead Performance Analyst, who will offer insight into performance analysis for the community game. A week later, Edinburgh Rugby Head Coach Richard Cockerill will present on creating a team culture.
On Thursday 14 May James Wade, Coach Development Officer, will host a webinar entitled ‘Mini Rugby – good to great’, before Scotland U20 Head Coach Sean Lineen wraps up the current tranche of sessions the following week by discussing learnings from his current role.*
A series of seven webinars, including sessions from Scotland Head Coach Gregor Townsend and former Scotland international Louise Dalgliesh, has proved popular with the Scottish rugby coaching community, with thousands of viewers tuning in live or accessing after the events to glean valuable coaching tips.
