The Scottish Rugby Community Recognition Awards programme is divided into two sections: regional (Edinburgh, Mid & West Lothian, Borders & East Lothian, Caledonia Midlands, Caledonia North, Glasgow North, Glasgow South) and national.

Following the recent announcement of the regional awards winners, which formed part of the celebrations marking Murrayfield Stadium’s 100th anniversary, the national awards programme seeks to honour outstanding contributions from players, coaches, and individuals who have supported the domestic game, both on and off the pitch.

The Spirit of Rugby Award, sponsored by The Famous Grouse, recognises individuals or groups within the Scottish rugby community who consistently uphold the sport’s core values in everything they do.

Scottish Rugby Area Director David Drummond highlighted that the announcement of the Spirit of Rugby winners was a key moment of the 2024 Community Recognition Awards and expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s event.

“This is a truly special evening where we come together at the end of the season to reflect and celebrate. There’s no better way to do that than by acknowledging the incredible individuals who make our rugby community so special,” he said.

Details on criteria and submission forms can be found below. The deadline for Spirit of Rugby submissions is 11.45pm on Sunday, 27 April.
