Peter Wright Elected To Scottish Rugby Council
Peter Wright, the former Scotland and British & Irish Lions prop, has been elected to the Scottish Rugby Council as representative for clubs in Scottish Hydro Premier 1.Wright succeeds Ian Barnes who stands down at the agm next month after Edinburgh Accies were relegated. At last night’s election meeting Wright (Glasgow Hawks) attracted seven votes while the other candidates Gordon Cairns (West of Scotland) secured three votes and Donald Macleod (Selkirk) two votes.
