The players will also be keeping the kids refreshed by handing out water and fruit which has been donated by the Reivers’ community partner Tesco Galashiels. Scottish Rugby’s regional development manager for East Lothian and the Borders, Brian Renwick who organises the event said: “It was a great success last year; it’s fantastic to see all the kids outside playing rugby in the sunshine. It’s what sport is all about.”
