Scotland 16s defeated by France
In the second day of competition at the Conwy International Rugby Festival, Scotland Blues and Scotland Reds Under 16 sides lost out to their French counterparts. The Reds were first up and lost 43-5 against France East.In very windy conditions, Scotland took the lead after 13mins through a try by Hamish Scanlan. However France went on to dominate and led 22-5 at half-time before out as convincing winners.Scotland Blues then took to the field against France West and were downed 19-0 after being only 5-0 behind at the interval.Scotland are back in action on Saturday with the Blues playing against Welsh Accies at 10.45 before the Reds compete with Wales RGC at 12.30.Scotland Reds: 1.
