Scotland 7s fixtures and squad for Canada announced
Scotland 7s Head Coach Calum MacRae has made two changes to his squad ahead of the Canadian leg of the HSBC World Sevens Series.Robert Beattie and Glenn Bryce have joined the team in Vancouver with Sean Kennedy and Tom Brown returning home.Scotland have been drawn along with the hosts Canada in Pool D as well as New Zealand and Russia.Speaking ahead of the competition MacRae said: “It’s great to welcome back Glenn and Bobby who have played with us already this series. “Glenn improved over the two weeks he spent with us in Wellington and Sydney and his decisive running game transferred to his performances for Edinburgh when he returned home.”Bobby comes back into the fold having recovered from a knock he picked up in Australia and he is desperate to get out there and show how much he has progressed.”The opener against Canada will be a great game in front of a full house.
