Ayr fullback Grant Anderson will re-join the Scotland 7s squad following his recovery from an ankle injury sustained at the IRB Sevens World Series event in Wellington earlier in the season. Anderson, who is a member of Scottish Rugby’s National Academy, will replace fulltime contracted Scotland 7s internationalist, Colin Shaw, who has failed to recover sufficiently from a head knock.
