Scotland 7S Squad Update

Ayr fullback Grant Anderson will re-join the Scotland 7s squad following his recovery from an ankle injury sustained at the IRB Sevens World Series event in Wellington earlier in the season. Anderson, who is a member of Scottish Rugby’s National Academy, will replace fulltime contracted Scotland 7s internationalist, Colin Shaw, who has failed to recover sufficiently from a head knock. Anderson, who is a member of Scottish Rugby’s National Academy, will replace fulltime contracted Scotland 7s internationalist, Colin Shaw, who has failed to recover sufficiently from a head knock. Shaw, who sustained the injury in training prior to the IRB Sevens World Series event in Adelaide, had hoped to be passed fit for this weekend’s competition in Hong Kong, but he will now be replaced by Anderson who flies out today.
