Scotland 7s unchanged for Vancouver
Scotland 7s Head Coach John Dalziel has named an unchanged squad for this weekend’s HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series tournament in Vancouver.
Scotland won the Challenge Trophy in Las Vegas last weekend, winning four games in a row to finish the tournament in 9th place.
They have been drawn in a Pool against England, Argentina and Japan in Canada.
Scotland 7s Head Coach John Dalziel said: “We are looking to build on the consistency of our last 4 wins but in the group stage it’s always important to get off to a good start.
“Our first game against England has a great bite to it but we will have to be at our very best to get a result against a really consistent and experienced side.
“It’s good to get three teams we haven’t faced this season to freshen up our preparation and the week has gone well.
“Week two on tour is all about getting the loading and recovery right so we can really function at a high level over the weekend.
“Vancouver is a great venue and an indoor 4g pitch will play very differently to Las Vegas, so we have planned accordingly.”
