Scotland fans to support record attempt
Macron, the new kit supplier to the Scotland rugby team, is calling on all Scotland fans to pull on their new home Scotland jerseys and make history by creating the team’s largest ever official team photo. The photograph will be taken with the Scotland team and thousands of rugby fans straight after the full-time whistle of the Scotland v Japan viagogo Autumn Test at Murrayfield on Saturday 9 November. Macron has developed the largest team photograph concept to celebrate the Scotland team wearing the new Classic Reborn home strip for the first time since its successful launch in August. Scottish Rugby will be allocating 3,000 seats in the Lower East Stand at Murrayfield for lucky fans that apply to take part in the historic photograph. Supporters who want to participate can purchase tickets in the East Stand. Some of the great players to have worn the Scotland jersey in the past will join fans in the East Stand for the photograph to tie in with the Classic Reborn theme of the new Macron kit. Macron CEO, Gianluca Pavanello said: “We know that Scotland fans truly feel part of their national team and that they’ll love the chance to be able to wear the blue jersey and stand with their heroes and the all-time greats of the game. “The largest team photograph will be the first official photograph of its type of the Scotland players wearing the new Macron kit and we’re inviting thousands of fans to come along and be part of Scottish Rugby history. After the match players and fans will be able to tag themselves and share with family and friends via social media.
