Scotland Update
11 Feb 2011
Glasgow Warriors lock Richie Gray took no part in Scotland’s final training session today before their RBS 6 Nations Championship match against Wales at Murrayfield tomorrow (kick-off 5pm). Gray, 21, sat out the practice after suffering from a stomach bug overnight. Scotland head coach Andy Robinson said: “As a precaution we have drafted Edinburgh lock Scott MacLeod to our squad and he trained with us today, having also worked with us earlier in the week. “Scott gave a quality performance in Scotland A’s victory over Ireland A at Netherdale last month and we would have no qualms if he is required tomorrow.” More than 61,000 tickets have been sold for tomorrow’s match. They remain on sale online at www.scottishrugby.org and via the hotline on 0844 335 3933 until 12 midnight tonight. You can also buy your tickets in person from the Scottish Rugby Ticket Centre, Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh until 8pm tonight (Friday 11 February). Please note there are no ticket sales on match day. Turnstiles tomorrow will open at 2.30pm with action from the England v Italy RBS 6 Nations Championship match on big screens behind the East Stand. The Scotland team are due to arrive at the stadium at 3.30pm.
