They were: Kathryn Mcanally, from Stirling, and Robert McLachlan, from Airdrie, who both win home & change versions of the new Murray branded Scotland supporter jerseys which went on sale in the shops yesterday (22 November). Also well done to Stuart Maclean, from Bearsden, who won four hospitality places for Edinburgh’s Magners League game against Llanelli Scarlets at Murrayfield this Sunday (kick-off 4:10pm) This week sees the welcome return of Glasgow Warriors onto terrestrial television with highlights from Friday’s Magners League match against league leaders Cardiff Blues at Firhill (kick-off 7:30pm). Sean Lineen’s team are going into the game on form following the opening rounds of the Heineken Cup in which they came close to beating English Premiership giants Saracens away from home as well as maintaining their unbeaten record at Firhill by recording a crucial bonus-point win over Viadana last weekend. In the SHE Premiership Edinburgh Accies’ coach Ian Barnes leads his team – fresh from beating Melrose last weekend – back to his old club Hawick, who’ll be sure to give him a warm reception! There will also be coverage of the top Premiership Division 2 clash between West of Scotland and Haddington from Burnbrae With the Scotland 7s squad flying to Dubai next week for the opening tournament in the IRB World 7s Series, the programme will be interviewing coach Stephen Gemmell as he tries to build on his team’s excellent form last season when they reached the quarter-finals of the last five successive tournaments. All that and another great competition, too! As the first two shows have amply demonstrated, Scotsport Rugby Sunday is a must-see programme for everyone interested in the game in Scotland. This week’s show once again kicks off at 6pm on STV and on-line at www.stv.tv/rugby. The show will also be shown on ITV Border at midnight on Tuesday.
