Scottish Rugby has teamed up with STV City channels to produce two exclusive TV programmes called Scotland Rugby 2015 which celebrate rugby in Scotland to fans across the country.For rugby fans, there is plenty to get excited about as everyone gears up for the Rugby World Cup 2015 and especially on STV, which is Scotland’s home of rugby throughout the Rugby World Cup.Viewers will be able to watch every match live either on STV or the STV Player and if they miss a game they can catch up on the action on the STV Player too.Alongside the live coverage of Rugby World Cup 2015 fans can tune in to Scotland Rugby 2015’s first episode at 8pm on Tuesday 22 September, STV Glasgow and STV Edinburgh.Filmed on location at Heriot’s Rugby Club in Edinburgh, Scotland Rugby 2015 will be an hour long Q&A presented by Scotland’s most capped international and record points scorer Chris Paterson with guests Mike Blair, Al Kellock, who captained Scotland at the last Rugby World Cup in 2011 and Jason White, who led the team at the 2007 tournament. On the eve of Scotland’s first match, the programme will feature discussion and analysis of Scotland’s chances in the tournament from both fans and the former players.The second edition of the show Scotland Rugby 2015 will be shown on Friday, 9th October 2015 at 8pm on STV Glasgow and STV Edinburgh.On the eve of Scotland’s final Group B match against Samoa in Newcastle upon Tyne, this half hour magazine will feature the story of the tournament so far and look back at the team’s journey to Rugby World Cup 2015.Dominic McKay, Scottish Rugby’s Chief Operating Officer said: “STV is the home of the Rugby World Cup in Scotland and we’re pleased and excited to team up with Scotland’s number one commercial television company for these exclusive programmes.”We’ll use our shared passion and expertise to reflect the excitement surrounding Scotland’s campaign and the World Cup as a whole.
