Scottish Rugby to broadcast U18 Boys and Girls National Youth Cup Finals
For the first time in the National Youth Cup history, Scottish Rugby will broadcast the two U18 Cup Finals for worldwide viewing on the Scottish Rugby website (Sunday 17 December).
Coverage will begin at 3.50pm ahead of the Girls U18 National Cup Final between Biggar and Stirling County with commentary from Stuart McFarlane, who will be joined by Kaeli King from Watsonians Women, on co-commentary.
The action will continue at 5.50pm in the build up to the Boys U18 National Cup Final between Boroughmuir and Stirling County. Bruce Millar will be joined by Edinburgh Rugby centurion, Tom Brown, on co-commentary.
In addition to the worldwide coverage, highlights from all eight finals played across the Scottish Gas Murrayfield campus will be available on the Scottish Rugby website and social media channels the following Tuesday.
Scottish Rugby Head of Marketing, Lynsey McMillan said: “We are really excited to be broadcasting our two U18 Cup Final matches live from Scottish Gas Murrayfield for the first time. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the best talent our club’s youth scene in Scotland has to offer on a worldwide stage.”
