Super6 Sprint Series: Competition Update
Over the last six weeks the first five rounds of FOSROC Super6 Sprint Series fixtures took place. This weekend [of Friday 27 and Saturday 28 May] the competition now splits into play-offs based on current league standings.
In the FOSROC Super6 Sprint Series league rounds each of the six teams (Ayrshire Bulls, Boroughmuir Bears, Heriot’s Rugby, Stirling County, Southern Knights and Watsonians) played each other once, either home or away.
After the five rounds of competition, Watsonians sit at the top of the league and are the only team who have recorded five wins from five opportunities.
Sitting closely behind the Edinburgh side are Stirling County who are only one point ahead of Ayrshire Bulls. Both teams have recorded three wins but Stirling County sit ahead with one more losing bonus points than the team from the west coast.
Heriot’s Rugby and Boroughmuir Bears are tightly in fourth and fifth place respectively with Heriot’s sitting ahead on points difference, the Southern Knights complete the table as they still search for their first win of the season.
You can view the full table HERE.
The FOSROC Super6 Sprint Series now moves into stage two of the competition; the FOSROC Super6 Sprint Series play-offs.
