Teams named for opening U18 Women’s Six Nations festival fixtures

Scotland Women U18 Head Coach Duncan Harrison has named two teams for tomorrow's Six Nations Festival fixtures against England (kick-off 11am) and against Wales (kick-off 12noon) at Wellington College, England.

Scotland will face England and Wales in 35-minute fixtures. For each team, the remaining 13 players will make up the substitutes.

The format of the tournament provides teams with the opportunity to play against each other, with each player starting at least one fixture, providing valuable development opportunities for each individual.

Speaking ahead of the tournament, Harrison said: “Training has gone really well in preparation for the U18 Six Nations Festival.

“The squad is very excited and ready to face the challenges of day one.

“It’s now just a matter of settling into our new surroundings, focusing on our key on-field principles and not letting the magnitude of the event distract us from these.”
