The towering second row also played for RGS Worcester and the Worcester Warriors Junior Academy.

Ahead of the 2024/25 season, he joined the Glasgow Warriors Pro-Academy.

Previously a Scotland U18 representative, Halkon also played for Emerging Scotland in the December 2024 fixture against Italy U23.

Outside of rugby, he studies Business Studies at Strathclyde University.
