Megan Hyland was first introduced to rugby through primary school with delivery from Mackie Rugby Club.
After falling in love with the sport Megan started playing at Montrose and Dundee RFC at age-grade level. She now plays for Premiership side, Garioch.
In 2022, Megan featured for Dundee in their U18 National Youth Shield winning match at Hive Stadium. Later that year the back row was selected for Scotland U18 and she went on to feature for them again in 2023.
In the 2023/24 season, Megan was selected for Glasgow Warriors Celtic Challenge squad and made four appearances across the competition.
Megan is currently a supported played with the North Regional Training Centre.
