Kicking off at 5.15 pm on Wednesday 12 August, the fixture will bring Premier League football to the Scottish capital as two of English football’s most historic and passionately supported clubs continue their preparations for the 2026/27 season.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from Thursday 28 May to Newcastle United and Everton season ticket holders and members, before going on general sale from 10am  on Tuesday 2 June via Ticketmaster. Tickets start from £35 for adults and £17 for under-16s, plus booking fees.

Scotland Supporters Club Plus members will have the opportunity to buy tickets through a pre-sale, with details being emailed to current members shortly.

Hospitality packages, including exclusive Murrayfield Boxes, vibrant grazing street food and enhanced bar experiences, go on sale via The Murrayfield Experience from Thursday 28 May — with limited availability from launch.

Set in the heart of Edinburgh, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium provides a fitting stage for a major summer fixture between two clubs with proud traditions, loyal travelling support and a competitive history.

  • What time do turnstiles open?

    All event timings, including turnstiles opening will be confirmed closer to the time, however we anticipate turnstiles opening at 3.30pm.

    Tickets are sold subject to a booking fee which vary by ticket provider. All tickets will be subject to a facilities fee of £1.80 per ticket in addition to booking fee. 

  • How will I get up to date information in the days leading up to the concert?

  • When will tickets be issued?

    Tickets are usually issued by your ticket provider nearer the date of the match. We would therefore encourage you to refer to your ticket provider for guidance on how and when your tickets will be issued.

  • How will I receive my tickets? 

    Information relating to the delivery of your tickets will be confirmed nearer to the date of the match via your ticket provider.

  • Will my seats have a restricted view? 

    We work closely with the promoter in advance of tickets going on sale to ensure that tickets being sold have an unobstructed view of the pitch. 

  • I have seen tickets advertised on other sites – can I still order from there?

    We would strongly advise against using any sites other than those listed above. These are the only sites we can guarantee have 100% genuine tickets. Consider the notes below before purchasing your tickets: 

    1. Only buy from the outlets listedinthe match advertising. 
    2. Find out the face value of the tickets and how much you are paying in booking fees.
    3. Find out the location of your seats.
    4. Never buy from an agent who says the tickets will be available to collect outside theTicketOffice. 
  • What should I do if I can no longer attend the match?

    Please refer to the terms and conditions of your ticket provider for full details on their resale/refund policy.

  • Are there any specific terms & conditions I should be aware of?
    1. Your ticket(s) are digital mobile tickets that will be delivered in the lead up to the match to the ticket agent’s app/your account which you will be instructed to download to your smart phone. I acknowledge that my ticket(s) may not be delivered until 7 days prior to the match date.
    2. Your ticket purchase constitutes a personal, revocable license and, at all times, remains the property of the event organisers. 
    3. Each ticket holder must be in possession of their ticket on entry. 
    4. Your ticket(s) are sold by the event organisers directly to you the consumer. Any tickets purchased by businesses or traders in breach of the terms and conditions of ticket sale will be cancelled. By accepting these terms and conditions you confirm that you are a consumer.
    5. Your ticket(s) will immediately become invalid if resold or offered for sale unless the sale is through the official ticket agent fan to fan exchange. Tickets sold via third parties or other unauthorised outlets, including online auction sites, are not valid for admission. The resale of a ticket via unauthorised outlets renders it invalid and may lead to refusal of entry.
    6. Ticket sales are limited to a maximum of (six) 6 tickets per customer. By ticking this box, I acknowledge that my tickets may be subject to cancellation if found in breach of this rule. 
    7. Only tickets purchased through approved ticket agents (Ticketmaster and official venue ticket agents) are valid for admission. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission.   
  • Are there any age restrictions?

    Children under the age of two (2) will be admitted to the Stadium for Matches free of charge if they are accompanied by an adult with a valid Ticket for the same Match. Children aged two (2) or over must have a valid Ticket and be accompanied by an adult with a valid Ticket for the same Match. Persons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

  • Can I bring my one-year-old baby without a ticket?

    Yes, Babes in Arms (up to 2 years old) are permitted without a ticket and we have parenting rooms and changing facilities located around the stadium 

Access Requirements

  • Will there be a designated area for wheelchair users at the stadium?

    Yes, there are designated wheelchair viewing areas and accessible facilities. You must purchase wheelchair tickets to gain access to this area. 

    The wheelchair viewing sections for concerts at Scottish Gas Murrayfield can be viewed on the ticket map and are situated in the West Stand.

Accessible Tickets

  • Where I can purchase accessible tickets?

    Customers can purchase Accessible tickets online through Ticketmaster by selecting a Wheelchair or Ambulant Disabled ticket

    • Wheelchair-Only Platform: Change ‘Ticket Quantity’ to 1 Wheelchair ticket (Free Companion ticket included along with Paid Wheelchair ticket). 
    • Ambulant Disabled Seating: Change ‘Ticket Quantity’ to 1 Ambulant ticket (Free Companion ticket included along with Paid Ambulant Disabled Ticket)  

     

    Please note that the Ambulant Disabled Seating ticket type will give you access to a specific ambulant-disabled seated area, which will have a limited number of stairs and accessible toilets close by.  
    One person will be allowed one free PA/Companion ticket (unless otherwise pre-agreed due to accessibility requirements).

    Customers who require a PA/Companion to attend the event but are situated outside of the accessible areas should purchase their own ticket and their PA/Companion ticket together then contact their ticket provider to request a refund of the PA/Companion ticket. 

  • Can I access food and bar outlets close to the accessible viewing decks? 

    At various times throughout the event a member of the catering team will visit the accessible decks to take food and drink orders. There is also a large variety of units available around the stadium. 

  • What facilities do you have on site for people with access requirements?

    Conveniently placed separate adapted and accessible toilets including a Changing Places toilet are in the lower southwest corner of the stadium, along with accessible toilet facilities around the stadium. 

    In addition we have an Accessible Support team who are on hand on event days to provide a wayfinding service and offer accessibility support within the grounds.   

    We ask customers to apply for the accessible facilities they require in advance, such as , Audio Description, Blue Badge Parking, and Sensory Room: You can request support by using our Accessible Facilities Form which can be found by clicking here.   

    Please note you cannot request Accessible & PA Tickets via this link. Accessible Tickets and PA/Companion tickets must be purchased from Ticketmaster.

Security

  • What security procedures will be in place at the match?

    The safety and security of everyone connected to our events is of paramount importance; to achieve this there will be various security procedures in place. 

     

    • All ticketholders will be searched before entering the venue – this may be via pat down searches or wanding.  

     

    • Scottish Gas Murrayfield stadium enforce a strict A4 bag policy (30cm x 21cm x 21cm) for sporting fixtures. Bags larger than this size, unless for childcare or medical reasons, will not be permitted.  

     

    • All bags will be searched before entry to the venue is permitted.  

     

    • Where possible we recommend that ticket holders do not bring bags with them to ensure quick entry into the stadium. 
  • What are the prohibited items for the event?

  • Is there a bag storage facility at the venue?

    No, there is not a bag-drop facility at (or in close proximity to) Scottish Gas Murrayfield. 

     

    Everyone who turns up to the venue with a bag larger than A4, unless for the reasons stated above, will be asked to deposit their bag in one of the many bag-drop facilities located across Edinburgh.

Transport

  • Will there be public parking available on the day of the concert at the stadium?  

    There is no public parking available at the stadium.  

     

    A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available to accessible ticket holders who present a valid event specific car park pass (this pass must be requested in advance, and, if a space is allocated via ballot, will be distributed with your tickets), along with an accessible match ticket. 

     

    The accessible parking is in proximity to the stadium at Murrayfield Ice Rink (EH12 5XN).   

     

    Please note, this car park is not open to all Blue Badge holders – access will only be granted if in possession of an event specific car park pass. 

     

    Due to crowd egress and local road closures for the event vehicles parked in this area will be held until roads re-open. 

  • Will there be coach parking available at the stadium? 

    Coach and minibus parking is not available at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.Coaches and minibuses will be directed to parking areas along the A8 (Corstorphine Road). It is vital that drivers co-operate and follow instructions and directions to ensure maximum capacity. The first vehicles to arrive will be parked nearest to the stadium. 

Getting to Scottish Gas Murrayfield

  • How do I get to and from Scottish Gas Murrayfield? 

    Scottish Gas Murrayfield is located to the west of Edinburgh and is well served by public transport, It is also within walking distance from the City Centre. 

     

    Plan your journey and know your travel options by checking your travel providers’ website for all the latest information ahead of your day. Check with your travel provider for any changes to services and details of last evening service. 

    By Train 

    Buy tickets in advance either at manned stations, by phone (0344 811 0141) or at scotrail.co.uk. Plan and ensure you check your travel providers’ website for any updates ahead of travel.  

    By Tram 

    Edinburgh’s tram line runs from Edinburgh Airport into the city centre and there is a stop at Murrayfield, the exit from which takes you onto Roseburn Street.  

    Please note tickets must be purchased prior to boarding trams. You can either use the ticket vending machines at tram stops or pre-purchase tickets on the Transport for Edinburgh App. To find out more and to pre-purchase your tram tickets visit edinburghticket.com. 

    By Bus 

    Lothian Buses run several routes throughout the city that service Scottish Gas Murrayfield. All Lothian buses accept contactless payments. Visit lothianbuses.com or download the Lothian Bus mobile app to help plan your journey on show day. 

    On Foot 

    Scottish Gas Murrayfield is approximately a 45-minute walk from Edinburgh city centre. From Princes Street head to Shandwick Place, onto Haymarket Terrace, then along Wester Coates (A8). 

    Closer to show day, maps will be uploaded here advising which of the surrounding streets to Scottish Gas Murrayfield you should then head down to reach your correct turnstiles. 

    By Car 

    There are various Park and Ride facilities in Edinburgh.  Please see the Edinburgh City Council website for further information – https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/parking/find-park-ride 

    Please note there is no street parking available around the stadium on major event days and there will be road closures near the stadium – please visit the Edinburgh Council website for any planned road closures and information on the newly enforced Pavement Parking restrictions closure to the event.
