The U17 Championship will open with the first match of the day, as Caledonia are set to face Edinburgh, which will be followed with Glasgow & The West going head-to-head against The Borders to decide who will lift the U17 trophy.

Then moving onto the U18 Championship, you will see The Borders & East Lothian take on Caledonia, followed by the U18 trophy decider between Edinburgh and Glasgow & The West.

The Champions of each series will be presented with their respective trophies and medals will be awarded to each player of the team.

Following on from this fixture all eyes will then turn to selection for the U18 Junior 1872 Cup fixture on Sunday 27 February which will be held back at The Greenyards.

Players from Edinburgh and The Borders and East Lothian will be selected to represent Edinburgh Rugby whilst the Glasgow Warriors team will be selected from players who play for Caledonia and Glasgow and the West.

Players selected for those sides will then get the opportunity to represent either Glasgow Warriors or Edinburgh Rugby when the travel to Wales to face their Celts and Druids teams on the weekend of Saturday 5 March.

If players impress throughout, they will then be invited to national U18 camps before Scotland U18 take part in a Six Nations festival in the spring.

Spectators are welcome to the U17 and U18 FOSROC Scottish Rugby Regional Championships in Melrose tomorrow, entry is free.
