Women under-20 team aim for 100% record
While Scotland Women compete in the 6 Nations this weekend, the next generation of players, Scotland Women under-20, take on a Northumbria University team on Friday evening (20 March, kick-off 5pm) in Newcastle.Following their 32-7 win over the RAF at Meggetland in February, the age grade side are looking to maintain a 100% record this season.Head coach Alex Laybourne said: If we get the performance right the result will follow and, as a group, we are looking to use the momentum created from the RAF game last month to help produce that performance on Friday night.I believe the game will evidence the progress this group have made over the last season and, for a large core of the team, the last two seasons, as well as show off the talent coming through at this age group.Scotland Women under-20 team to play Northumbria University15.
