500 miles – Ullapool demonstrate devotion to Scotland boys
Ullapool High School, will be backing blue this Autumn, when Scotland take-on Tonga at Rugby Park, Kilmarnock, on Saturday 22 November (kick-off 2.30pm).Around 30 pupils from the west Highland school will make the 500 mile round-trip to watch Scotland take on the Pacific Islanders. The school often take full advantage of the Autumn Test Series group offer, which includes two free tickets for adult organisers, with children’s tickets from just£5. Also, to celebrate international rugby going to Ayrshire for the first time, all kids under 12 go free to the Scotland v Tonga match!Phil McCann, a teacher from the school who organised the trip, said:”This will be the second consecutive year that we have taken up the group offer from Scottish Rugby, as we made the trip for the Australia match last year. “The atmosphere was electric at BT Murrayfield on our last visit and the kids loved every second of it – even better, it was just a fiver!”This year, we’re heading down to Kilmarnock, and hoping for much of the same.”Some of the pupils have never seen an international match, some haven’t even seen a game of rugby, so this is a great chance for them to learn about the game, and the culture and values that surrounds it.”To get your tickets for this season’s Autumn Test Series visit: www.eticketing.co.uk/scottishrugby/default.aspx
