Highland Rugby – Secondary School Leagues Review
30 Jun 2010
The Highland Rugby development team set up an S1/2 and under-16 league structure to offer the schools of the north the opportunity to play regular competitive rugby. With the leagues open to all schools it wasn’t long until six signed up for the new venture – three from Inverness and three from across the Highlands. The S1/2 league kicked off in November with Millburn, Plockton, IRA, Grantown Grammar and Culloden Academy all vying to be the first winners of the new League. The Highland Rugby development team set up an S1/2 and under-16 league structure to offer the schools of the north the opportunity to play regular competitive rugby.
