Scotland Pack Park Up In Gardens
Scotland fans got an early taste of what they can expect in today’s EMC Test against Italy when captain Alastair Kellock took his pack to Princes Street Gardens for a lineout and autograph/photo session on Friday evening. Some 400 supporters watched on as the forwards walked down Princes Street from the team hotel before setting up camp beneath the National Galleries and showing off their skills. The players then posed for pictures and signed the 2011 Scotland squad photo, before giving a number of lucky fans complimentary tickets to come along to Murrayfield today. Kellock told www.scotlandrugbyteam.org: “It was great to see so many supporters in the gardens, and we hope we whetted their appetite to get on down and watch us against Italy on Saturday. “The backing we get from the Scottish public, both at the stadium and around the globe, is absolutely second to none, and we’ll be going all out to make them proud both on Saturday and then in the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.” Tickets for the Italy game are on sale on match-day from outlets on Roseburn Street, just beside the stadium. Supporters who need to collect or purchase tickets are advised to do so no later than two hours before the game begins (kick-off is at 5pm).
