PLEASE NOTE: We would ask that any requests, concerns and queries you may have are dealt with either by calling or emailing the Customer Services team prior to the match. The Ticket Office itself is not open to the public on a non-event day.

Where can I buy match tickets?

Tickets can only be purchased directly from Scottish Rugby website through the link provided here: https://www.eticketing.co.uk/scottishrugby/

How do I receive my match tickets?

All Scotland match tickets are delivered via the Scottish Rugby Ticketing App as part of our ongoing drive to improve access, security and sustainability on Scotland matchdays. Your Scottish Rugby ticketing account, through which you purchased your tickets, will link your tickets to the App using the mobile number registered to your ticketing account. Your match tickets will then be sent to the app on your device, to be scanned at the turnstiles at Scottish Gas Murrayfield for entry into the stadium.

We encourage all ticket purchasers to download the app as soon as possible. Tickets for both matches have now been issued, if you have not received your tickets to your app, please check that the mobile number on your ticketing account is correct and up to date. If you have any issues, please contact the Customer Services team by emailing [email protected].

I’ve lost my ticket(s)/passes or they haven’t arrived, can you reprint them?

If you have not received your mobile tickets on your app, by 4 working days before the match, please contact us by email on [email protected] or by replying to your confirmation email. This email should include your full details, the section and seat numbers booked and the reason you are not in possession of the tickets.

I need to upgrade a concession ticket to a full adult ticket. What should I do?

Please contact the Customer Services team prior to the day of the game on 0131 378 1600 (opening hours see above) with your ticket details and a member of staff will be happy to help.

Whilst upgrades can be processed on match-days if plans change last minute, we strongly advise supporters to do this as far in advance to avoid delays. Tickets can only be upgraded on the day of the match by the ticket purchaser.

I have a season pass – how do I enter the stadium?

All Season Passes are issued digitally via the Scottish Rugby Ticketing App. These will be scanned on entry.

I don’t have a ticket; can I get one outside the stadium on the day?

We would encourage spectators to buy tickets in advance from the Scottish Rugby website. Supporters should not purchase tickets from any unofficial sources prior to or on match day.

Can I buy and sell tickets anywhere else online?

Scottish Rugby do not have an official secondary ticketing partner and therefore tickets should only be purchased from Scottish Rugby directly through the following link – https://www.eticketing.co.uk/scottishrugby/.

Scottish Rugby actively discourage the activities of ticket touts and any tickets for sale on known secondary ticketing websites will be investigated and those seats will be cancelled.

Can I bring my young child?

Children under two are admitted free of charge provided they sit on the parent or guardian’s knee. Matches are however extremely busy events with large crowds and loud music which may not be suitable for very young children.

Baby changing units are available in the accessible toilets in the lower West Stand in both the North and South corners. The doors are marked with baby changing signs.

Scottish Gas Murrayfield offers two parenting rooms – the first is accessible from the concourse behind the East Stand (North corner). Please ask one of our Blue Crew volunteers or a steward for access to the facility. A second parenting room is in the West Fan Village, beside Hive Stadium.

There is one dedicated buggy drop off point within the stadium. This is next to the South Tunnel. Please speak with your nearest steward to be directed.

I have problems with my mobility; can I get assistance to my seat?

To make your match day experience as relaxing as possible, our match day assistance team are able to meet you and assist you to your section.

To request stadium support please e-mail [email protected] as early as possible and let us know what assistance is required. We do advise arranging this prior to match day as demand for this service is extremely high and may reach capacity.

A limited number of wheelchairs are available to assist you on the day, please enquire for more information.

My mobility has been affected since I bought my ticket. What if I’m physically unable to get to my seat?

If there is any change in your circumstances, please contact the Customer Services team as soon as you can and we will try to find a more suitable seat for your circumstances where possible, subject to availability.

What do I do if I find someone sitting in my seat with the same ticket, or if there’s a problem with my seat?

Contact your nearest steward; they are there to help you. We strongly encourage that any issues are brought to our attention on the day in order that we can resolve during your visit.

IMPORTANT – SCOTTISH GAS MURRAYFIELD BAG POLICY

Can I bring a bag?

Supporters are urged where possible not to bring bags to the stadium. In any case, bags larger than A4 size (21cm x 30cm) will not be permitted unless required for medical or childcare reasons.

Anyone bringing a bag larger than A4 for medical or childcare reasons should go to a designated turnstile where bags will be searched and tagged prior to entry into the stadium. Please be aware that access via this route to the stadium may take slightly longer than through other turnstiles.

All bags will be searched.

No bag drop facilities will be provided at the stadium. Locations around the city can be found here.

Storage facility in Edinburgh

Can I bring along my Bagpipes in their case?

Bagpipes are an integral part of creating the very unique atmosphere that Scottish Gas Murrayfield is known for and will be permitted at events at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.

All cases used in the transport of bagpipes will be searched before entry is gained.

Please note: Busking for money is not permitted within the Stadium grounds.

Water bottles & flasks

Empty water bottles & flasks are permitted into the stadium (any contents will be poured out prior to entry). These can be refilled from the water fountains within the stadium concourses.

Food

You may bring small amounts of food into the stadium for medical or childcare reasons, or for your own use.

Soft drinks & juices

In line with other major venues, only sealed plastic bottles of water or soft drinks up to 500ml can be brought into the stadium. No cans will be permitted.

Air horns

Only mechanised air horns (blow-through or wind-up) are allowed inside the stadium. Pressurised containers are not permitted.

Cameras

Small amateur cameras are permitted, but large professional cameras are not. By small, we mean pocket-size digital cameras or SLR cameras with zoom lenses no more powerful than 300mm. Tripods are not permitted.

Flags

Yes! The more Scotland flags brought to the stadium the better – just make sure the sticks are no more that 1m tall and there’s no ‘pointy bit’ on the end.

Road Closures & Restrictions  

There are a number of temporary traffic restrictions in place on nearby streets on matchday. Visit the Edinburgh Council website for full details of traffic and parking restrictions. Supporters attending any of the fixtures using any nearby on-street parking are advised to check the timings of the road closures as you may be parked within an area that is affected by the various post-match closures. Vehicle movement will not be permitted during the road closure times and includes popular areas in Haymarket Yards, the Stanhope area, Wester Coates area, Balbirnie Place and parts of the Roseburn area.

The nearest areas to drop passengers off for the stadium pre-match are located on both sides of Corstorphine Road near to Murrayfield Ave, Russell Road (which must be accessed from Gorgie) and on both sides of Westfield Road adjacent to/opposite Sainsbury’s supermarket, these will be indicated with signage. Please note that pedestrians are prohibited from using the West Approach Road so MUST NOT be dropped off on this road. Please also DO NOT attempt to drop off at either end of Roseburn Street once this is closed for crowd safety (approx. 2 hrs prior to kick off).

Please note that there are new rules in Edinburgh City Council which ban pavement parking.

Pedestrian Management

To ensure pedestrian safety and to minimise traffic disruption, pedestrian movement will be safely managed around the Haymarket area following the match.

Those heading back into the city centre or Haymarket Station may experience delays due to the pavement width available for the number of supporters heading along this corridor. Alternative routes back to the city centre are available via Magdala Crescent, Coates Gardens or Rosebery Crescent. Access into Haymarket Station will be managed across the tram tracks. Trams will still be running so please be patient and take advice from the stewards and Police who are there to ensure your safety.

Please note that there will be NO route back to the city centre/Haymarket Station via Balbirnie Place/Haymarket Yards. Pedestrians heading along Russell Road will be directed to Dalry Road as an alternative route back to the City Centre. Please note that these diversions will not add any significant length onto your route and will have no effect to your journey times as delays to pedestrian movement will be reduced. All of these measures are introduced for your own safety and the safety of other road users. Further assistance and instruction will be given to those patrons travelling by rail as they near Haymarket Station.

It is imperative you allow plenty of extra time for your journey to the game. There are plenty of activities to enjoy at Scottish Gas Murrayfield before the match, with lots of food and drink options available.

ON FOOT

Scottish Gas Murrayfield is approximately a 45-minute walk from Edinburgh city centre (e.g. Waverley Station). From Princes Street head onto Shandwick Place (A8) which leads on to Atholl Place, then onto Haymarket Terrace. Continue on the A8 until Roseburn Street until you reach the junction to Roseburn Street, where you will find Tesco and the Roseburn Bar. If you are seated in either the South or Eest stands, turn left for turnstiles on Roseburn Street & Roseburn Crescent. Ticket holders for East and North Stands should continue on the A8 until Riversdale Crescent (opposite the Murrayfield Hotel) where you can turn left and enter via our North Turnstiles. There are a range of shops, bars and restaurants along the route, including the Murrayfield Bar, just past Roseburn Street which is also popular with rugby fans.

Please note: after the match the walking route back into town may change due to crowd control measures (e.g. there may be pedestrian management in place around Haymarket).

Where are the turnstiles?

Turnstiles are situated at each side of the ground so no matter which direction you’re coming from, you’ll easily be able to get into the stadium.

North: accessible from Corstorphine Road and along Riversdale Crescent, the turnstiles are beside Murrayfield Ice Rink.
North East: access from Roseburn Crescent, which runs along the south edge of Roseburn Park.
South and East: the main bank of turnstiles off Roseburn Street.
West: turnstile lanes are located behind the west stand and can be accessed from Roseburn Street and Baird Drive Bridge over our training pitches.

When do the turnstiles open?

West Fan Village: 1:45pm Accessed from Roseburn Street via South walkway, over Baird Drive Bridge and training pitches, or by our northwest turnstiles off Riversdale Crescent (behind the Ice Rink). Saughtonhall Bridge cannot be used to enter the West Fan Village. 

Hospitality Village: 1:45pm Accessed via Saughtonhall Bridge only. 

All other Turnstiles: 2:45pm 

Large crowds are expected, and we recommend that supporters in possession of their tickets arrive at the turnstiles no later than 30 minutes before kick-off to ensure they reach their seats on time.

Announcements

We will consider all requests for PA announcements and ‘shout-outs’ which can be sent to [email protected]. However, it is at the discretion of Scottish Rugby whether we are in a position, time permitting, to read them all out.

Toilets

There are additional toilets placed around the stadium periphery and in the West Fan Village. These can be identified by our ‘lads’, ‘lassies’ and ‘accessible’ signs. A gender-neutral toilet is located in the West Fan Village next to Hive Stadium.

Baby changing facilities

There are changing units in the disabled toilets in the lower West (South) stand area and in the lower West (North) stand area. The doors have the appropriate baby changing signs on them. There is also a parenting room, accessible from the concourse behind the East stand (North corner) – please ask one of our Blue Crew volunteers or a steward for access to the facility. A second parenting room is located in the West Fan Village, beside Hive Stadium.

Changing Places Toilet

We have a Changing Places Toilet available located in vomitory 7 next to the Macron shop in the Southwest corner of the stadium.

Cash facilities

There are no cash facilities onsite – the majority of our bars and catering units are card/contactless only.

However a limited number of units will accept cash – please speak to any of our Blue Crew who are located around the stadium who will be able to direct you to the nearest unit.

Our Scottish Rugby Macron stores accept both cash and card payments, along with our programme sellers and RefTalk vendors.

Information and Blue Crew Volunteers

Our knowledgeable Blue Crew volunteers will be able to help you with any questions you may have about the game, the stadium and the events of the day. Look out for their blue jackets.

West Fan Village

Make the most of your match day ticket and join in the pre-match build-up and carry on the post-match fun in our West Fan Village. There are bar facilities, hot food and entertainment. It will all be open again after the game, so avoid the queues in town and join in the banter here at Scottish Gas Murrayfield!

Here are some other activites to look out for on Saturday:

• Enjoy a live DJ set and a pint of the black stuff in the Guinness Corner behind the North Stand!
• Peter Vardy Driving Experience (West Fan Village) – Come along and test your driving skills and see how you compare with Scotland players!
• Famous Grouse Clubhouse (DJ & roof terrace) – Former Scotland international Adam Ashe is spinning the disks in the West Fan Village ahead of the game.
• Peter Vardy Perfect Pass (Gatehouse) – Test your rugby ball throw accuracy at our new Perfect Pass activation in the South West corner of the stadium when turnstiles open.
• Tennent’s T photo op (East) – Get your photo taken beside the iconic big T located behind the East Stand.
• Scottish Gas will be introducing their Unleash the Energy rugby simulator in the West Fan Village.

As well as entertainment and catering facilities, we’ll be showing other Six Nations games on our big screen:

Before the game, watch Ireland v Wales on the big screen in the West Fan Village (kick-off 2.15pm).

North

Alongside our North turnstiles you’ll find our largest Macron store, providing an endless amount of merchandise and memorabilia.

In the newly created Guinness Corner featuring live DJ sets, as well as pints of Guinness 0.0 for designated drivers and those looking to try something new.

South

To the South of the Stadium there is a great selection of food and cold or hot drinks! Make sure you visit our Macron Shop and Tennent’s Up and Under Bar, where we will be showing the following games: Ireland V Wales, kick off 2:15pm.

East

The East stand has a large selection of food and drinks available, be sure to check out the Macron marquee shop as well as our Clocktower bar.

Team Arrival

The Scotland team is due to arrive at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium approximately an hour and a half before kick-off on match day. You can welcome the Scotland players by congregating along the roadside or on the stairs and upper concourse immediately behind the West stand. Get there early to secure your spot!

There is a dedicated viewing area is available for wheelchair users. Our Blue Crew and Stewards will be on hand to direct you to this location located close to the Main Reception. Please note that due to demand, access to this area will be restricted to the wheelchair user plus one companion.

Match programme

A souvenir programme will be available from sellers located around the stadium, priced £6; look out for the blue stands with digital boards above them.

Ref Talk

Battery operated handsets with earphones allow you to hear the referee throughout the game. They are available from sellers located around the stadium, priced £7. If for any reason you have issues with your handset please speak to someone at the Ticket Office in the East or one of the sellers located outside the Macron marquee at the North of the stadium or at the Macron store at the West.

Shop

The Scottish Rugby Store, situated in the West stand (South corner), will be open from when hospitality turnstiles open until an hour after final whistle.

Marquees shops selling merchandise will also be behind the North and East stands (open from when general turnstiles open until an hour after final whistle).

Treat yourselves to a scrumptious offering on matchday here at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, packed with street food favourites from all corners of the globe.

Explore this food heaven and sample a variety of fresh and appetising cuisine, including stalls from:

To quench your thirst, in the West Fan Village you’ll also come across our draught and canned bars pouring pints of Tennent’s Lager, GUINNESS, and Caledonia Best, all served in recyclable pint cups.  Our range of cans include Tennent’s Lager, Drygate Seven Peaks IPA, Magners Cider and Magners Dark Fruit.  Along with a full range of single serve wines, as well as a selection of soft drinks including Coca-Cola Zero and Diet Coke, IRN-BRU, and Strathmore still water…you’ll certainly not go thirsty!

Also in the West Fan Village, look out for our Famous Grouse Bar offering range of whisky cocktails, along with the Edinburgh Gin container bar offering gin cocktails And, for those looking for some bubbles keep an eye out for the Prosecco Camper Van and Red Double Decker bus.

Last but certainly not least, our Sports Bar, the ‘Tennent’s Up & Under’, is open to all in the stadium serving a full draught range of Tennent’s Lager, Drygate Seven Peaks IPA, Magners Cider and Caledonia Best as well as non-alcoholic drinks

Scottish Rugby wants everyone who comes to Scottish Gas Murrayfield to have a great match day experience. Supporters are encouraged to be mindful of others while enjoying all that is on offer. Scottish Rugby does not encourage nor tolerate ‘booing’ of the opposition at any point during the game and asks all fans to refrain from engaging in this activity.

The stadium is situated in a residential area and Scottish Rugby asks you to please be mindful and respectful of local residents and their property when entering and leaving the ground. Please do not take any drinks with you when you leave, and please dispose of your rubbish in the bins provided.

Feel unwell?

We have a full medical team on duty for your safety and wellbeing, including First Aid, paramedics and doctors. If you feel unwell, please contact your nearest steward, who will direct you to further help. The First Aid room is located at ground level in the Southwest corner of the stadium (near the Scottish Rugby store).

Lost property

If you mislay property in the stadium please contact your nearest steward. If you discover the loss after the event, contact our Facilities staff at [email protected]

How can I find out about disability access?
When you are booking, please state if you are have a disability and require special assistance, we can then take the steps to ensure your day goes as smoothly as possible. We can provide wheelchair access match tickets, disabled parking and also wheelchairs (by prior arrangement).

Can we get parking for Hospitality?
There is no parking at Scottish Gas Murrayfield for international games, unless you are a registered Blue Badge Holder (for the disabled), in which case a limited number of disabled spaces are made available and must be pre-booked at least 2 weeks prior to match day.

Where do I go on matchday to access hospitality?
Our Hospitality sales team will send out a pre-event information pack prior to the match, please check your emails or with your lead booker for this information prior to matchday.

Can I bring a bag to the stadium?
Bags brought into the stadium must be smaller than A4, a full bag search is completed upon entry into the stadium, please see the Scottish Rugby website for more details on prohibited items.

What is the dress code for hospitality?
The dress code is smart casual. We allow rugby tops, but no trainers or ripped jeans.

How do I access the Hospitality Village?
Entrance for Hospitality Village South, North 1 and 2 is as follows-
Closest tram station is Balgreen Station
– Exit tram at Balgreen Station
– Head north on Balgreen Road and immediately turn right on Baird Drive
– Take second left onto Baird Grove and then right on Saughtonhall Avenue
– Follow signage across Saughtonhall Bridge to access Hospitality Village South
Taxi/Buses
– Exit vehicle on Corstorphine Road, head south on Riversdale Crescent
– Follow road Riversdale Crescent for 300m to reach Saughtonhall Bridge, access point to Hospitality Village South

What is included in my Hospitality Village Package?

Where are my seats for the game?
Your seats are located in the Upper North West Stand, your exact seat numbers can be found on your ticket. If you require accessible seating, please get in touch as soon as possible.

How do I access my tickets?
All tickets are accessed via the Scottish Rugby Ticketing App. You can download the app by clicking here. For more information, please visit ASK Scottish Rugby.

What is my table number?
Your table number will be sent to your lead booker ahead of the match via email. Please ensure that you check this with your lead booker to ensure a smooth entry on the day.

Can I bring a bag to the Hospitality Village?
We highly discourage bringing any bags to the Village, however bags of smaller than A4 size will be permitted, and a full bag search is completed upon entry.

What is the dress code for the Hospitality Village?
The dress code is smart casual. We allow rugby tops, but no trainers or ripped jeans.

Is the Village heated?
Yes, the Village is heated, but we still recommend that you wrap up warm!

Is there Half-Time Access?
No. There is no access to the Hospitality Village during Half-Time.

Can I use my vape or is there a smoking area?
The Village is a no-smoking venue and you must not vape within the Village either. There will be a designated smoking area outside of the Village.
