On the eve of Scotland Women 7s’ participation in European competition, we speak to the newest recruit to the squad, Portobello HS former pupil Rose Anderson, on transferring her Olympic basketball skills to the rugby field and the allure of sevens’ rugby.Scotland Women 7s are competing this weekend (Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June) in the FIRA-AER Division A Championship in Bergen, Norway. Scotland’s pool games on Saturday are v Finland (k/o 10.22am local, 9.22am UK); v Croatia (k/o 13.22 local, 12.22pm UK); and v Moldova (k/o 17.28 local, 4.28pm UK).
