Scotland v Argentina

Sunday 16 November, kick-off 3.10pm

Argentina reached the semi-finals of the 2023 Rugby World Cup and then, after appointing former stand-off/centre Felipe Contepomi as head coach, climbed up to 5th in the world rankings after a run of eye-catching wins against New Zealand, Australia and South Africa in last year’s Rugby Championship. It’s three years since Los Pumas were last at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, when the crowd enjoyed a 12-try thriller, eight of them coming from Scotland – including a hat-trick from Darcy Graham – for a 52-29 win.

Los Pumas were in brilliant form in the recent Rugby Championship, beating the All Blacks and Australia and coming within two points of eventual tournament winners South Africa. With critical World Rugby ranking points on the line ahead of the draw for the 2027 Rugby World Cup, this game is squaring up to be a classic.

The crowd is already over 63,000 so if you’re planning to come to the game, don’t leave it too late!
